Waiting for a religious discourse to finish, I saw this gecko stuck to the roof of an under-stairs toilet…waiting with infinite patience, stock-still, for some creature to get within reach….

And a couple of days later, in our garden, there was this creature that cannot sit still for more than a fraction of a second, as it flutters by:

Surely there is philosophy in thie range of creation, from the never-still, to the incredibly still…..!

And yes, before any of you say so, that WAS still photography!
