Jai and Nayan wanted a quick trip to the Bannerghatta Zoo area, so I went along….here’s my highlight of the day, a

calling with that disproportionately large, curved beak:

What was to be a quick trip became a very long one when people used the excuse of the Bangalore Bandh to burn old tyres, and block off the road, making us take small side roads, and causing huge traffic jams:
