From VV’s garden, I could see this tree which seemed to have

HOUSE SPARROWS

instead of leaves…

A common bird around San Diego is the CALIFORNIA TOWHEE california towhee? 080510 I got what Mary Dueren of the St.Louis Audubon Society has provisionally id'd for me as the CACTUS WREN Update...Mary says this is the Bewick's Wren.
